1. Initial Meeting/Call
Concept and Story of the Documentary, Filming Schedule, Scope and Location for Filming, Historical Artifacts, Your expectations and involvement, Comfort Level, Release Forms, Promotion and Distribution of the film, Questions and concerns. Please fill this form.

2. Scheduling
Coordinate filming schedules to ensure that all parties are available on the designated filming date and that production is completed in a timely manner. Our goal is to capture all necessary footage within a single day of filming.

3. Prepare for Filming
Manoa Sky may request visual documentation of the shooting locations in order to prepare equipment and ensure seamless production. Equipment check. Last-minute Q&As and calls as needed.

4. Filming Day
Complete and sign release forms for everyone that will appear in the film. We plan to adopt a day-in-the-life, vérité style of filming, capturing the candid and unscripted moments of your day as they unfold. We will also shoot a sit-down interview. If deemed appropriate, we may also film a segment of your morning routine to provide the audience with a more intimate understanding and establish a deeper emotional connection with the film. Our goal is to complete all filming within a single day.

5. Post-Production
The documentary will enter the post-production phase, which will include a comprehensive review of the footage and interviews, color correction, editing, sound design, selection of musical score, title design, and the implementation of visual effects. The post-production process is expected to take between 2 to 4 months to complete. Short documentaries are expected to be 5-10 minutes in duration.

6. Release
The completed documentary will be distributed on the Manoa Sky YouTube channel. After its release, you are welcome to share the link with your personal/business network, including friends and family, and social media. Segments or the entirety of the documentary may be shared on various social media platforms and websites for expanded audience reach and distribution. This includes photographs, screenshots, voiceover and video.
